The Celtic Dragon Tarot by DJ Conway and Lisa Hunt
Judgement - Renewal; Karmic Issues
Something or someone out of the past comes back into your life with influences you may or may not like. Handle karmic relationships or issues correctly or pay the price. This card may point to a change of home or job. You are attracted to a new line of spiritual or magickal study. You will face an unpleasant but necessary decision.
Strangely enough, I had two acquaintances from my past contact me last week. One I had simply lost touch with and it was a pleasant surprise to hear from. She may at some point have a lead to a job for me. The other person was one I had cut ties from and have no desire to renew any ties with again. Since the first of the year there have been many unpleasant but necessary decisions. I'm still wondering about the karmic relationships/issues and how I should or should not be handling them.

Very cool! Nice use of beads with ribbons on the beautiful print.
The meaning of the Tarot Card is a bit spooky, but intriguing.
Are you going to do different cards for each month?
Thank you! Yes, I'll use a different one each month from the major arcana of that deck. I wonder if I shouldn't put the longer descriptive of the cards on though; it gave a broader range talking about the tree of life, past present future and how that ties in to karma and rebirth etc.
I just can't tell you how creative I think your choice of theme is for the year. The bead/ribbon combo is unique. I also like your commentary on how you card choice and its meaning have crossed your life.
Great Page.
I agree with Carol about your theme being really creative! The way you expressed the message of the card with the intertwined ribbons and beads, white/black, and the isolation of the circle is fabulous! It just shows (again) how there are no accidents. Thank you!

Very unique!
I love the layering of ribbons and beads. Very distinctive. Can't wait to see more.
Very cool piece. I love when your work syncs with your life that way.
Truly amazing.. Being a friend of yours for as long as I have I am SOOOO very excited to watch this journey you are taking. This is the first time I have seen you excited about going "out of the box".
Of course being the honored recipient of one of your GORGEOUS pieces of art I "might" be a little biased
Fabulous work.. cannot wait to see your next project.
Wow look at you go! Very creative! And Rhi is so lucky to be your friend and recipient of that beautiful framed piece below. I am getting a little stuck with my January piece and you have inspired me to move forward. Thx!

Thank you all so much for your comments, I appreciate the feedback!
I too, join in everyone's appreciation of your work! I love your use of layering and color. I especially love how your work reflects what is going on in your life. - Marlene
Love, love, love this! I have always wanted to do a series of masks & art dolls to represent the major arcana ... one of these years, eh? ;o)
I've always seen judgment as sort of a "milestone" card. The end of one cycle and the start of another ... a time for renewal, and also reflection. What was useful in the old situation (or relationships) that is worth holding on to - and what is no longer of value, what is best to let go of? Are there parallels between those old experiences and new things you're trying to cultivate now?
Also, the ribbonwork is a beautiful touch. Love the layers and the seemingly delicate look!

i like how you worked in the ribbon. it's really pretty!
Drea, I haven't been ignoring your questions... need to make time to sit and think about them. Thank you for a different perspective on the card. I'd love to see you do a series of masks or dolls like that!
