These are some of the faces I was working on for the BAD face swap I am participating in. There are some others I've been playing with trying out making them in to magnets, but I'll show those later on at some point.
I've been playing with some new clays so some are polymer clay, some are air dry stone clay, and some are air dry modeling clay. I believe there is even one face made out of paper clay in there. So far the only one I am not very fond of working with is the air dry modeling clay, but it has it's own way of working up that is kind of neat too with some of the different painting effects I was trying out.
The lighting wasn't great as I took them last night with the house lights, so you miss some of the detail on them and they look a little darker than they actually are.
They were sent off in the mail this morning to be spread out in the swap group and I hope those that receive them love them. Great fun making them and painting in the details.
Hope everyone has a great weekend. I'm going to take it easy for a couple of days now that I've gotten all of major commitments met for the time being!

Here's looking at you.....love the different looks they all have
Ooooo, I always love faces since my dolls need them, and would like to be in on something like this next time around. Let me know! I enjoy hand-sculpting with clay, and now my daughter has me experimenting with paper clay as well. Can't wait to see what comes your way!
PS: Meant to add, my two favorites are third from left in the two middle rows. Very unique looks!
Your faces look great! I admire those that can paint tiny little details. I have always had a hard time with that but now that my hands shake too much ~~ you can forget it! These are wonderful and I am sure the recipients will love them. Hugs, Connie :)
Hi Stacie
I love faces and there are a couple of yours that are really unique. I like to make them without a mold and always make a bunch to have on hand. Yours are great. I like that tedious painting also. Its so relaxing.
Great assortment of faces - so much fun to envision what each might be made into!!
